Thanks for an amazing 2017! See you in 2018!

BSidesPGH is a volunteer-run information security conference held in Pittsburgh. Security BSides is a global series of community-driven conferences presenting a wide range of information security topics.

Conference location details

The BSides PGH conference has traditionally been at Spirit Pittsburgh (242 51st St Pittsburgh, PA 15201) in June.  It is at the intersection of Butler Street and 51st St in Lawrenceville, formerly the Lawrenceville Moose.

Spirit offers two small parking lots for automobiles. Ample street parking is available on the side streets around Spirit. Bicycle parking is available in front of the venue. Spirit is served by the 87, 91, and 93 PAT buses.

Amenities included with admission to the conference include breakfast pastries and coffee from Priory Fine Pastries. Lunch will be pizza and salad from Slice Island. Complimentary refreshments will be available during the event.

If you need off-site space away from the conference, we'd strongly recommend the Butterwood Bake Consortium for a quiet space for coffee and desserts or The Abbey On Butler Street for coffee, lunch, and dinner. For the best burgers in Pittsburgh, Stinky's is two blocks away.

The Lawrenceville area of the Pittsburgh does not have lodging. We'd recommend you stay in hotels in the Strip District such as the Homewood Suites by Hilton or Hampton Inn & Suites.
